Founder & Principal Designer
Bay Area–based interior designer with nearly 20 years of experience creating layered, soulful , and globally-inspired spaces. Drawing from her extensive travels, Tamara blends old and new, bold color and rich texture to create interiors that feel personal and lived in.
Before founding NOMADA, she worked on the design teams such as at Ken Fulk, Inc. and Lucky Brand, where she led extensive projects from concept through completion. She later led workplace design projects for Fortune 500 companies and tech giants.
When she’s not designing, Tamara is likely on a dance floor, in an antique shop searching for hidden gems, or hosting friends with a carefully curated soundtrack playing in the background.
She holds a degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles — a combination that has shaped her belief that great design should not only look beautiful, but feel right too.
